What inspires you?
The attention to the breath and the wonder of being alive on this dynamic planet. My children's laughter, the warmth of a hand resting behind a heart, the subtle smile in a stranger’s eyes, sunsets and well, sunrises, and....life.
What is your greatest takeaway from your yoga journey?
It's not about getting somewhere, it's about arriving more HERE.
Are you looking for me? I am in the next seat.
My shoulder is against yours.
you will not find me in the stupas, not in Indian shrine
rooms, nor in synagogues, nor in cathedrals:
not in masses, nor kirtans, not in legs winding
around your own neck, nor in eating nothing but
When you really look for me, you will see me
you will find me in the tiniest house of time. ~ KABIR
All of them, as it means I get to pay deep attention to the body that houses the soul that longs to experience the greatest vitality and wonder at each movement, even on the most subtlest of levels.
What can we expect from your workshops?
When I arrive at a new location, I bring my full self and all of the knowledge, practice, and love that have been offered to me over my long and wonderful yoga journey. I focus on alignment of the body, but even more than that, the alignment with our heart. An openness to the source of dynamic and powerful movements of yoga brought to life by the breath.
