‘Alliyana’, derived from the Quechua language of South America, means to heal, cure or recover. Alliyana Movement, founded by Daniel Sonic Rojas, is a unique art form that presents simple, yet powerful forms of movement to evolve and heal our connection to our body and spirit. This integrative and holistic practice helps to move energy along meridian channels, clear toxins and stagnant energy, prevent and rehabilitate injuries, and to bring creativity and inspiration to one’s movement practice through dynamic, playful, healing & mindful movement.
In these monthly deep dives, practitioners can expect to learn the principles and practice of Alliyana Movement both on and off the yoga mat.

Animan is takes a holistic approach to creating strength, flexibility, mobility, coordination, balance and alignment in the body. This dynamic practice uses locomotive and mobility training and animalistic movements to develop an intelligent form of conditioning for the body and mind. Working from the inside out, Animan gives important emphasis to embodying the quality of animalistic movements as a means of going beyond mechanics and connecting more deeply to mobility and muscular function, targeting the whole body. Animan is a complete physical conditioning training that works with progressive exercises, unique flows, and creative animalistic movements in order to move with grace, confidence and totality.
Movement as a Form of Communication

Building a relationship with your body through movement and breath. This session uses kriyas (physical actions), breath work and invigorating methods to communicate with the energy of your body and mind. Expect a simple, yet profound experience of getting to know your physicality, mentality and spirituality as decoded through the sychronisation of movement and breath.

Somatically experiencing an interplay of gentle movements and stretches, yoga, meridian knowledge and bioenergetics to open and align the physical and energetic forms. This workshop is a synthesis of the most effective bioenergetic practices from Daniel's movement career, offered as a meditative flow between physical postures, stretches, energetic movements, self massage, and embodiment practices as a means of healing, rehabilitating and restoring the body and mind.
Building an Intelligent Practice

Curating one’s own intelligent practice using playfulness, physical conditioning, mobility and alignment. Within this intensive, participants will gain a better understanding of their physical body and how to design a personal practice that is focused, efficient and non-stressful. This session will inspire each practitioner to curate, up-level and enhance their specific discipline of physical movement.
$65 per session

ABOUT DANIEL SONIC ROJAS
Daniel Sonic Rojas, a professional dancer, mover and yoga teacher of more than 25 years, is known around the world for his movement creativity and body mastery. His rich experience includes several World, European and Scandinavian Championships in breakdance, touring for nearly 20 years with reputable, contemporary dance companies in Europe, performing in world acclaimed physical-theatre productions, dancing for Queens, Kings and Presidents, and inspiring millions to move through his performances, competitions, workshops, injury rehabilitation and life story.
Combining his experiential journey of many years as a dedicated movement and yoga practitioner, Daniel has created his own art form, Alliyana Movement©, a multi-level movement methodology, that presents simple, yet powerful forms of movement to evolve and heal our connection to our body and spirit. The eight core principles of Alliyana Movement include feeling, mobility, locomotion, coordination, aligning, flexibility, strengthening and twisting - explored through a variety of integrative, mindful movement.
