Our life experience is created out of cycles of Yin and Yang: Yin, the passive, feminine and Yang the active, masculine principle. In our asana practice, Yin Yang combines the aspects of passive, cooling energy and active, heating energy.
Join Floydd and Diana for a contrasting but complimentary Yin & Yang yoga combination, to bring balance to your body: flowing with a strong, dynamic, breath-infused rhythm to enliven the mind, body and spirit, followed by gentle, relaxing and restorative Yin poses to strengthen those connective tissues.

ABOUT FLOYDD WOOD
South African-born Floydd was introduced to yoga in 2004 while living in Shanghai: it was a natural fit for mind and body. Curious by nature, he continued to experiment with various movement practices, including Bikram, Iyengar, Ashtanga, partner yoga, ballet, pole and contemporary dance — and even circus arts!
From 2006, as he established his professional life in Singapore's fast-paced world of brand strategy, yoga became the cornerstone of his approach to health and wellness.
His affection for the spiritual, emotional and physical benefits of yoga saw him complete his 200hr Vinyasa Teacher Training in 2015, alongside training in Yin Yoga (Traditional Chinese Medicine and Myofascial Release), and Children's Yoga. He is also a certified Kundalini Reiki Master, and Sound Therapy practitioner, often incorporating these influences into yoga practices.
Floydd teaches Yang yoga the way he practises: strong, enjoyable dance-inspired sequences that open and energise mind, body and spirit. He has a special affection for Yin Yoga - for its tranquil process and effective results.
He hopes to both educate and inspire students to improve their personal yoga experience - while both respecting and celebrating their bodies.
ABOUT DIANA LIM
In 2000, Diana walked out from her first yoga class feeling lousy about her inflexibility. That prevented her from returning to yoga until six years later, when under the tutelage of an experienced vinyasa and Iyengar teacher, she began to learn more about the techniques of the asanas and became really serious about yoga. She committed to a daily practice, and it is only with hard work and discipline that her body is what it is today.
After she was certified as a RYT-200 teacher under Vikasa Yoga Koh Samui in year 2013, Diana embarked on a journey of teaching and sharing her experience. She believes in constantly upgrading herself and continues to study with teachers from various lineages including Briony Smyth and Dice Iida-Klein (Bryce Yoga), Christina Sell, Kino Macgregor and Tim Feldmann (Mysore Ashtanga), and most recently completed her training in prenatal yoga with Jo Chan of Surya Yoga.
All the different branches of training has allowed Diana to become more versatile in her teaching, and thanks to her personal experience, she is very empathetic towards anybody who is stiff and inflexible, so leave your hesitations at the door!
Diana believe that nobody is born flexible enough for yoga, but that yoga is flexible for everybody to practise. “Yoga is 99 percent practice and one percent theory.”
