Kids Yoga Summer Camp with Babita Rajan, Jun 24 - 28

Orchard Central
Monday - Friday, June 24 - 28, 2019
2pm - 4pm

We would like to invite children (5-11 years) to join us on a 5-day yoga journey. They will learn to integrate their minds and bodies in a mindful practice of yoga poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), music, art and mandalas, yoga stories, affirmations and mantras.

Reflecting on some yogic principles weaved into our daily themes, we aim to help children achieve a state of connectedness within themselves.

Fun, playful and enriching, children can explore Nature in the yogic sphere, tapping into their intrinsic minds, sparking creativity and sharing the joy of just being.

Yoga, a 5000-year-old discipline, is a living and breathing tradition that's ever evolving and Babita is privileged to be a part of it over the last 12 years. She shares her passion for everything yoga with her two young children and obtained her RCYT certification last year with Divine Light Yoga at Hom Yoga Singapore.

Babita is an ardent bookworm. She is in love with the works of Thich Nhat Hanh and the emphasis on cultivating mindfulness in daily life. Babita believes that enlightening children with a self-preserving tool for the body, mind and spirit in a fun and engaging way is the best gift we can give to the next generation. After all, they are Earth’s future citizens!
