Gain a clear understanding of hot yoga and put it into action on the mat. This 50-hour course consists of interactive lectures, posture clinics, practical teaching methodology, as well as daily asana practice for experiential learning.

Open to all experienced practitioners and teachers who want to acquire deeper skill sets and insights into Hot Yoga. Participants are required to be in good health, be open and committed to learning, and have a regular Hot Yoga practice prior to attending.

Curriculum is based on Hot Hatha/Hot Classic/Hot 26/ Monster Hot class sequence, however teaching techniques can be applied to all class styles. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon course completion. This course qualifies for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours.

  • Refining your personal practice through Hot Yoga
  • History and benefits of the Hot Yoga method
  • Teaching, leadership and confidence skills
  • Anatomy, biomechanics, and functional mobility
  • Safe alignments, sequencing and class structure
  • How to empower students through progressive sequencing
  • Physical and vocal adjustments
  • Props and tools for special-needs students
  • Communication skills for group class facilitation
  • Kundalini and esoteric applications in hot yoga
  • Practice teaching – personal coaching and daily feedback on instruction

Monday - Friday
October 21 - 25, 2019
8.30am - 6pm

8:15am – 9:30am Morning practice
10:00am – 1:00pm Morning Lecture/Posture Clinic
2:00pm - 5:00pm Afternoon Lecture/Posture Clinic
5:00pm - 6:00pm Teaching Clinic

Lectures are held in a non-hot room and include both theory and posture clinics, so dress comfortable for light posture work.

Regular: $1,260

Course includes printed training manual and digital study materials.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All deposits are non-refundable.
Any cancellation received 60 days prior to course incurs a fee of $250.
Any cancellation received 30 days prior to course will result in forfeit of the full tuition fee.

Daniel Copper Crow (Copper) is an internationally renowned conference presenter, course leader, and yoga teacher trainer.

Originally from Texas, USA, Copper was first introduced to yoga at age four, by his father and martial art teachers. He fully committed to teaching ‘Yoga’ in 2003, after resigning as a Senior Training Specialist for Charles Schwab, a leading US Fortune 500 company. Copper holds the highest qualification possible with Yoga Alliance, E-RYT 500, in addition to professional training certifications with Achieve Global, Development Dimensions International (DDI), and Mager Consortium. He has been leading professional development & leadership courses since 2000, teaching and managing Yoga studios throughout Asia (Bangkok, Seoul, Hong Kong & Singapore) since 2004, and has led over 20 yoga teacher trainings since 2009.
