The common misconception is that yoga arm balance relies solely on upper body strength. Instead, they are dependent mostly on breath techniques (pranayama), focus point (drishti) and body locks (bandhas).
Join Diana in this workshop that breaks down all of this preparation for you to reach out into arm balance poses, moving away from fear by learning the basic principles and foundations of finding strength, as well as the sequencing to lay the groundwork to get you there.
This workshop is suitable for yoga newbies who are just starting to explore arm balances, as well as seasoned practitioners who wish to refine their fundamental techniques.

ABOUT DIANA LIM
Diana followed a strong Vinyasa/Iyengar teacher since the year 2006, and it wasn’t a smooth journey as she did not begin with a very flexible body. After 7 years of routine practice, Diana embarked her Yoga Teacher Training certification under Vikasa Yoga Koh Samui. Since then, she has started teaching until today.
From the nature of her work experience, which involves Arts & Creatives, Diana often applies her creativity into her classes, hence her classes are always fun and playful yet energetic and dynamic. Thanks to her personal experience, she is very empathetic towards anybody who is stiff and inflexible.
Diana believes that nobody is born flexible enough for yoga, but that yoga is flexible for everybody to practice.
