Maryna Samushyia

Originally from Belarus, Maryna started practicing yoga when she was 18 years old. In her country, yoga wasn't very popular that time, so she had to learn this ancient knowledge from the books of great gurus like B.K.S. Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois.

Inspired by yoga's transformative powers, she completed her 200-hour training at Absolute Yoga Academy in Thailand with Michel Besnard in March 2013. A master's degree in biology, coupled with deep understanding of anatomy and physiology of the human body, also help her to create safe yet powerful alignment-based vinyasa flows that include some pranayama, mudras, meditation and of course five minutes of heaven, meaning savasana :).

Maryna regularly expands her knowledge in yoga and human anatomy. She holds a 100-hour Yin Yoga certificate with Jo Phee, a 100-hour Ashtanga Yoga certificate with Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldman, and is currently studying yoga anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff. Her mantra in class: "Your breath is what leads you into the pose". Breath is our life. Be ready to have fun!
