John Tattva

John is a life-long practitioner of yoga. His fascination towards this ancient practice began at the tender age of 9 years, when he was a primary school apprentice. He continued this learning journey through his youth until early adulthood when, after having graduated from several intensive yoga trainings, he began to teach daily in 2009, in New Delhi. 

In 2012, he found his passion and love for Ashtanga yoga and has been making his yearly trips to Mysore ever since. In 2019, John received Authorization Level 2 - the blessing from his Guru Sharath Rangaswamy Jois to teach Ashtanga Yoga according to the traditional linage. 

While teaching, John’s focus lies in guiding yoga along with the Vinyasa principles - a harmonious connection of breath and movement; a moving meditation of grace and fluidity. John truly appreciates the benefits of therapeutic yoga and feels honoured to be spreading positivity to all. His teachings bring fresh light and awareness to each and every moment. 

He is forever grateful to all his teachers which he met during his yoga journey. He believes there is no limit to learning and to self discovery. As he likes to say, “we are all a work in progress".
