Apryl Koh
Apryl’s yoga journey began in 2015, a path she embraced wholeheartedly after a friend gifted her a trial package. Her practice has since become an integral part of her lifestyle.
With almost ten years of experience as a special education teacher, Apryl brings a unique, child-centric approach to her classes, meeting each student where they are on their journey. She has been working with children since she was 17, and her passion for teaching young children is evident in her work.
After completing her yoga teacher training with Blair Hughes in 2017, Apryl discovered Laura McEgan (Divine Light Yoga)'s children's teacher training in 2022. She completed the certification with a clear mission: to share the transformative benefits of yoga with as many children as possible.
Apryl believes yoga empowers kids to feel both strong and calm, and she strives to build a sense of community through her classes. As a trained classical pianist, she also weaves musical elements into her sessions to create a unique and engaging experience.
Apryl holds the following certifications:
- RYT-200, RCYT-95
- B.A. (Psychology)
- M.Ed (Developmental Psychology), NTU-NIE
