Kids Yoga (6-11) Workshop with Jasmine Tay, Mar 29
River Valley
Saturday, March 29, 2025
11.30am - 12.45pm
This Kids Yoga workshop, suitable for kids 6 to 11 years old, is where little yogis get to explore movement, breath, and mindfulness in a way that feels natural and fun! When kids take the lead, they will be able to tap into their creativity and curiosity.
Rather than rigid poses and strict sequences, we encourage children to move in ways that feel good to them—whether that means acting out animals, telling a story with movement, or creating their own yoga adventures. Through games, music, and imaginative play, kids will build strength, balance, and focus while developing a sense of confidence and self-expression.
Breathing exercises and mindfulness activities are included into the class in a lighthearted way, helping kids feel calm, centered, and connected. They can use these simple techniques anytime they need a moment of peace.
This is a space where every child’s voice is heard, and their ideas help shape the experience. The goal is not perfection—it is joy, movement, and discovery.
Come as you are, and let’s flow, play, and breathe together!

ABOUT JASMINE TAY
Yoga has guided Jasmine through both turbulent and joyous times since her early 20s. From her first corporate job to motherhood—yoga has something to offer in every stage of her life. Her practice of self exploration and empowerment has provided her with beneficial tools to face the lessons in life and new enthusiasm to explore the unknown.
Jasmine received her initial 200-hour yoga teacher training through Hom Yoga Singapore in 2014. She has completed a 216-hour Navakarana Vinyasa training in Hong Kong and is also trained in hot yoga, yin and mindful birth yoga for pregnancy, birth and baby. She is endlessly grateful to all of her teachers who have lit the way and humbled to share this light with others.
Jasmine places an emphasis on knowing and honouring one's own limitations, while at the same time nurturing growth through mindfulness and balanced effort. Through her offerings, she continues to hold space for others and this place of service is where she feels most grounded.
"Honor every moment, cultivate gratitude for all, practice for now."
